Why Lampworth

What makes the difference

Each element of how we work is shaped by one question: what actually helps knowledge take root?

Small-group learning

Sessions are kept intentionally small so that facilitators can respond to the actual questions in the room, not a generalised audience.

Singapore-relevant context

All examples, frameworks, and case studies are drawn from Singapore's financial environment — CPF, MAS-regulated products, and local planning considerations.

Structured, not rushed

Multi-week programmes give concepts time to settle. There's space for questions, reflection, and returning to material before moving forward.

Education, not sales

Lampworth teaches participants to understand financial decisions, not to push specific products. The focus is always on building judgement.

Practical takeaways

Every session includes material participants can apply directly — workbooks, templates, and exercises designed for real financial situations, not hypothetical ones.

A coherent learning path

The three programmes form a natural progression. Participants can start where they are and build from there, without repeating ground they've already covered.

Common Questions

Questions we hear often

Do I need any financial background to join?

Not at all. The Cultivating Financial Habits programme is designed for participants with no prior financial knowledge. For the investment and planning programmes, a basic understanding of personal finance is helpful, but there's no formal requirement. If you're unsure which programme suits you, we're happy to have a brief conversation before you enrol.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are held at our space at 1 George Street, #10-01, in the heart of Singapore's financial district. The location is well connected by MRT and has good access from most parts of the island. Upcoming cohorts and exact times are shared upon enquiry.

How large are the groups?

Groups are kept small — typically between six and twelve participants. This size allows facilitators to engage meaningfully with each person's questions and to adjust the pace of discussion based on where the group is. It also encourages the kind of peer exchange that reinforces learning.

What do the programmes cost, and what's included?

Cultivating Financial Habits is SGD 310, Growing Investment Knowledge is SGD 900, and Rooted Financial Planning is SGD 2,200. Each programme includes all session materials, printed workbooks, and digital resources. The planning programme additionally includes two private consultations and a 6-month check-in. Pricing is per individual; group rates for organisations are available on request.

Can I do more than one programme?

Yes. The three programmes form a natural learning progression. Many participants begin with the habits programme and move into the investment one once they've built a foundation. You can join programmes sequentially over time — there's no requirement to do them back to back.

Is this financial advice?

No. Lampworth provides financial education — which means we help participants build the knowledge and frameworks to make well-considered decisions. We do not provide regulated financial advice, recommend specific products, or manage funds. The private consultations in the Rooted Financial Planning programme are advisory in nature — they help you apply what you've learned to your personal context.

How do I enrol or find out about upcoming cohorts?

The simplest way is to use the contact form below or to call us at +65 6721 8503. We'll let you know which cohorts are coming up, answer any questions you have, and confirm your place once you're ready to proceed. Spaces fill up steadily, so it's worth reaching out a few weeks before your intended start date.

Is there a refund if I need to withdraw?

We handle withdrawal requests on a case-by-case basis. If you need to withdraw before a programme begins, we'll do our best to accommodate a transfer to a later cohort or, where appropriate, a refund. For full details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions or speak with us directly.
