Why Choose Lampworth
What sets a
well-rooted education apart
Lampworth's programmes are built differently โ not around volume or speed, but around the kind of understanding that stays with you.
Back to HomeCore Advantages
Six things we do differently
These aren't marketing points โ they're structural decisions that shape every session we run.
Intentionally small groups
Six to twelve participants per cohort. Enough for productive discussion, few enough that your specific questions don't get lost.
Singapore-grounded content
CPF mechanics, MAS-regulated instruments, SRS planning โ all examples are drawn from the financial environment participants actually live in.
Education over product sales
We don't earn commissions from financial products. Our focus is always on giving participants the understanding to make their own well-considered decisions.
A progressive learning path
Three programmes that build on each other naturally. Participants can enter at the right level and advance when they're ready โ without revisiting ground they've already covered.
Immediately applicable tools
Every session includes workbooks, templates, and exercises built for real situations โ budgets, portfolio scenarios, planning worksheets โ not abstract theory.
Structured multi-week format
Programmes run over five to ten weeks. That pacing is deliberate โ concepts need time to settle before new ones are introduced, and questions are expected, not rushed past.

Expertise & Facilitation
Facilitators who know the Singapore market deeply
Our facilitators have spent their careers working within Singapore's financial services sector. They understand not just theory, but the practical texture of local regulation, the CPF system, and the investment instruments available to residents.
That knowledge shapes every session. When participants ask about SRS strategies, unit trusts listed on SGX, or the mechanics of HDB financing, they're met with answers grounded in actual experience rather than general principles.
- Deep familiarity with MAS guidelines and local regulations
- Practical experience with CPF, SRS, and related instruments
- Facilitators who have advised and educated โ not just studied
MAS Framework
Content aligned with Singapore's regulatory environment and financial product landscape.
CPF & SRS Literacy
Specific sessions on how to read and use these systems effectively within your own planning.
Market Familiarity
SGX, REITs, local unit trusts โ discussed in the context of Singapore's investment environment.
Programme Structure
Curriculum Design
A curriculum built around how people actually learn
Each programme is structured so that each week builds on the last. New material is introduced only after the previous session's concepts have had space to be questioned, discussed, and applied through exercises.
This isn't a lecture series โ it's a progression. Participants leave each session with a concrete take-home exercise, and the following week opens with space to review what they discovered.
- Weekly pacing with deliberate review periods
- Take-home exercises tied to each session's content
- Materials kept between cohorts โ no one-time handouts
Support & Communication
Questions welcomed โ before, during, and after
The small group format means facilitators have genuine capacity to respond to what's actually in the room. Questions aren't parked for later โ they're addressed when they arise, because that's when they're most useful.
Before you enrol, you're welcome to have a conversation with us about which programme fits your situation. After you complete one, we're available to answer follow-up questions as you begin applying what you've covered.
- Pre-enrolment conversation to confirm the right programme
- In-session discussion time built into each week
- Follow-up support after programme completion

Value & Transparency
Clear pricing, no surprises
Each programme is priced as a single flat fee that covers everything included. There are no session-by-session charges, no supplementary materials sold separately, and no revenue streams from product recommendations.
That transparency reflects a straightforward commercial model: Lampworth earns revenue from education fees, not from financial product sales. It keeps our incentives cleanly aligned with helping participants learn.
Outcomes
Knowledge that changes how you engage with your finances
The measure of a good financial education programme isn't how much content is covered โ it's whether participants finish with a genuinely clearer sense of their own financial situation and what to do about it.
Participants who complete Lampworth programmes regularly describe returning to their own finances with more confidence: reading documents they would previously have ignored, asking more targeted questions of advisers, and making more deliberate decisions.
- Clearer personal financial picture within weeks of starting
- Ability to read and interpret standard financial documents
- A practical plan to act on โ not just ideas to think about

Distinctive Features
What you won't find elsewhere
The only programmes built entirely around Singapore's financial context
Every case study, every framework, and every worked example uses Singapore-specific data, instruments, and regulations. Participants aren't adapting generic content to their situation โ the content is their situation.
No conflicts of interest โ ever
Lampworth does not earn commission, referral fees, or other income from financial product providers. When a facilitator recommends reading a prospectus carefully before investing, there's no financial reason to say otherwise.
A genuine learning pathway, not isolated workshops
The three Lampworth programmes are designed to connect. Completing the first makes the second more meaningful. Completing the second gives the third real depth. Participants can return to continue their learning over time as their circumstances evolve.
Built on what actually helps financial knowledge stick
The curriculum design, group size limits, pacing, and exercise structure are all grounded in how adults learn complex material. This isn't an information dump โ it's a programme designed so that what's taught is actually retained and applied.
